# 11
After meeting several times with my collaborative group we finally have a grasp on our proposal. We all worked together but split up some of the different sections so that we could work on them more in depth and then go over them all together. My sections were the needs statement and the budget section. I think i have a good grasp on the two. For the needs statement I need to refer to the transcription and the specific things Jessica requested and for the budget I plan to refer to Kinkos/FedEx to get a quote on how much different types of brochures will be.

Splitting the sections up is a good idea. It allows each person to examine the different sections more in depth and really pick them apart. Although I do think that is a good idea, I think it is also good that each group member knows what goes into each section. Because in the real world I don't think we will be writing a proposal in a group and can pass different sections out to different people. For this project I think that works to ensure that everyone has a part in the project. But ultimately every person should know how to do every section of the project!
