Career Expo 2010
I went to the career expo on Wednesday. It seemed to be productive, but was a little overwhelming at the same time. I talked to a recruiter from Apple for a while. I think most of the recruiters were looking for seniors, so that was an issue since I'm a junior. However, I do think it was a good experience because it was practice for when I actually need to start actively pursuing employment. I realized that it's fine to walk up to a recruiter and just start talking to them and prefer people who are more aggressive I think.

I too went to the career expo and found my self to you young to be there. I am glad I went because it was a chance to get my feet wet in a professional enviorment. I also feel more prepared for the next career expos to come.
ReplyDeleteI hope when I am eligable for an internship I am not too shy to talk to the recruiters becuase like you said I think they look for the agressive students.
